General examination matters
The following procedure is provided for registering for examinations:
- Examinations must be registered with the examination office via the examination administration system at least 14 days before the examination date. Up to seven days before the examination date, examinations can be cancelled in the examination administration system without giving reasons. After this date it is no longer possible to deregister or reschedule.
- For all oral examinations, a binding date must first be fixed in consultation with the secretary's office (Ms. Ernst, Room 131, House 2). The examination must be registered with the Examinations Office no later than four weeks before the agreed date.
Please note:
- In case of illness, a certificate of incapacity for work (Attest) must be submitted with the examination office at the latest one week after the missed examination date. Since a retroactive certificate of incapacity to work is generally not possible, the doctor should be seen on the day of the examination at the latest (if the examination falls on a Saturday, it is advisable to see the doctor on Friday).
- Please note the following data on the back of the certificate of incapacity for work: Enrolment number, study program, the exam in question, the date of the exam.
