Theses
Should you be interested in writing your theses with our department, you can learn about the general procedure here.
Bachelor Theses
Bachelor theses are assigned at the beginning of each semester and must be completed in the same semester. A list of possible topics is published on this page at the beginning of April and October. Thereupon, an application for one of these topics is possible about two weeks later. Exceptions to this procedure are not possible.
A necessary prerequisite for an application for one of the advertised topics is that all admission requirements for the registration of the Bachelor thesis are already fulfilled at the time of application. If a topic is assigned, proof of the prerequisites being met is required by the submission of a performance record.
In addition, successful participation in the course "Anleitung zum wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten" or comparable courses is required. Students who do not fulfil this requirement are strongly advised to obtain the lecture notes for the course "Anleitung zum wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten".
Winter semester 2021/2022
A topic list including a description of the topics and suitable introductory literature can be found via the following link after October 12, 2021, latest:
(Due to personnel changes, the announcement of the topics is unfortunately delayed, so registration is also expected to be postponed to Oct. 22.)
